International students participate in Mitsui O.S.K. Lines internship program

Since AY 2024, TUFS has been sending international students to Mitsui O.S.K. Lines as interns during the summer with the cooperation of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines.
This year, three international students, two from the School of Japan Studies and one from the Graduate School of Global Studies, participated in the internship program from July 15 (Tue) to August 1 (Fri), 2025.
During the internship, each student conducted research on overseas employment systems in their home countries (Indonesia, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka) and challenges related to working in Japan, with guidance from company employees. On the final day, they presented their research findings, and subsequently received feedback from Mitsui O.S.K. Lines on areas of strength and areas for improvement.
Participants expressed that the experience was ��extremely meaningful,�� and it served as a valuable learning opportunity for international students aspiring to work in Japan in the future.
